T O P I C R E V I E WpandoraXHi! I'm looking for insights on my chart with my current love interest. He & I are still getting to know each other but we have a strong psychic connection and when we have to separate for any reason (arguments, etc.) it takes a huge emotional toll on me.Also...I feel an INTENSE amount of passion for him...if the chart shows why, can anyone tell me if he should be feeling the same way for me?Is there anything in our charts about our sexual and emotional relationship? According to the charts would we be good marriage partners, lovers or jut friends?I'm also interested in knowing if there are any karmic ties or soul mate/soul family connections visible in the chart.I'm on the inside. Thanks so much in advance! This relationship has me losing sleep sometimes. But when it's good it's SO GOOD!! Not sure how to upload this chart so it's visible...I'll try a couple ways so here goes: http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h420/digitaldiva360/synastrychart2.jpg LexusVirgoTheres a moon pluto and venus pluto conjunction between you two must be mutually obsessive. Let the current SATURN Retrograde help you identify, and then meditate upon, the answers.Hi Aubyanne! Thx for this insight! I'm not sure if I'm afraid of anything...just really trying to find out why this man is on my mind so much. It's something I've never experienced on this level even though I've had several relationships. I've been single for years, without interest in a relationship (I'd been in a horrible relationship for some years before & decided I needed a break) but then this guy comes along & even tho we're different he's been like a lightening bolt in my life. It's strange to me so...just trying to figure out some possible reasons why I'm feeling so strongly for him so soon.I'm not obsessed like stalking him or driving by his house...lol I mean "obsessed" as like constantly thinking about him...and I wonder if he feels the same way. We have some sort of psychic connection too. Sometimes I'll just focus my thoughts on him & he'll call me or text me.LexusVirgoHe probably feels the same way because hes the moon your pluto. and in the other one your venus he's pluto.AubyanneThe psychic link is MERCURY/NEPTUNE.I think what I'm trying to say is that obsession is simply rooted in insecurity, which is based in fear. The trick is to understand the fear.Astrologically-speaking, your obsession is indicated by the close MOON conjunct PLUTO, in which you're the MOON. VENUS conjunct PLUTO is going on on his end, but men have a much harder path to their VENUS than women (generally) do to their MOON, and thus, unless he's 'at home' with his VENUS, that may be a more subtle influence.MOON/PLUTO can certainly bind two people, but the purpose is to develop emotional honesty. It will strip you of any ability to strategise, manipulate, and emotionally game-play. Why? Because they blow up in your face. They fail to achieve the desired outcome, because the intention is to build a foundation of raw, emotional honesty. You can imagine, how well this goes is largely dependent upon the emotional maturity level of the individuals involved. If one's prone to playing games, it's going to be a rough transition. On the other hand, if they tend to be straightforward and genuine with their emotions, the bonding will be smoother rather than volatile, with less misunderstandings and 'mixed signals' being sent and received.Once emotional security is achieved between you, the obsession wanes, becoming a greater attachment. Hence, why obsession is ultimately rooted in a sense of imbalance and insecurity. The fact that we become preoccupied with, 'does he feel it, too?' and 'who's feeling it more?' means we're inherently uncertain, invested, and nervous that our emotions aren't being requited; that our investment may fail to provide the returns we're hoping for. Essentially.AubyanneI love his JUPITER on your VENUS. BTW, where's your PRIAPUS? (h22) It can be incredibly revealing in these sorts of interactions.pandoraX quote:Originally posted by Aubyanne:The fact that we become preoccupied with, 'does he feel it, too?' and 'who's feeling it more?' means we're inherently uncertain, invested, and nervous that our emotions aren't being requited; that our investment may fail to provide the returns we're hoping for. Here is a new chart with the Priapus. I'm interested to see what it reveals. OrangeHow is Priapus revealing? Aubyanne quote:Originally posted by pandoraX: OMG...that must be it. That's my fear. My clients think so, too, sometimes. (I'm also a therapist). It's a tough spot. When we've had joy, or -- even worse -- when we've longed for, but never quite tasted it -- that first time we find it, we become so desperate to hang onto it. We can become quickly obsessed with seeking the certainty we lack.Think instead of the inherent lesson of MOON conjunct PLUTO. As the MOON, we're challenged to be as naked, raw, and honest as we can with our emotions. It's rough -- even painful. We're so vulnerable and exposed. And they seem so damned protected and guarded. It's both horribly frustrating and devastatingly sexy.Like Inanna descending into the Underworld, removing a garment as she clears another level, risking greater exposure as she goes. It IS PLUTO, after all. Your emotions versus Hades. Only complete honesty is the way through that 'Hell'. And then it can be profoundly beautiful.AubyanneThe aspects to your PRIAPUS are interesting. I've never really studied the squares, only the conjunctions. But, providing the orbs are within range, there are some definite ones here: to his VENUS and PLUTO, I believe; EROS is too far. I'd count VENUS, but not PLUTO.I never understood PRIAPUS until Ceridwen explained to me what's happening from the perspective of Earth, when the MOON is at perigee: how huge it appears to us here. Almost overwhelming. It's as if it can't be ignored. I think it's only 'phallic' per its mythological roots, in the sense that it so desperately seeks to merge -- and humanity has chosen sex to be the most easily understood physical way to achieve that.So I've found the PRIAPUS is a point of extreme desire and longing for physical union. Merging. Naturally, it also tends to be a point of submission -- but not for a desire of masochism, or a need of degradation. It simply yearns to merge with such potency it's willing to submit in pursuit of it.Powerful stuff, really, and tends to be the makings of obsession. That's why I explore it in sexual synastry; especially where obsession is a major feature.pandoraX quote:Originally posted by Aubyanne:The aspects to your PRIAPUS are interesting.
